Korea Anabaptist Centre: Resourcing Anabapatist peacebuilders in Korea
In South Korea, potential conflict with North Korea is an ever-present danger for a young community of Anabaptist/Mennnonite believers. Several young congregations are seeking a peace church approach to non-violent peace building, discipleship, and community development.
Mennonite Church Canada helps support the Korea Anabaptist Center (KAC) with personnel and financial support so that Korean congregations can be equipped through peace education, translation and publishing of Anabaptist books, and teaching engagements.
Mennonite Church South Korea (MCSK) is a newly formed conference of four Mennonite congregations. MC Canada Witness workers, Bo Ki Kim and Sook Kyoung Park work closely with MCSK to encourage the fellowship and witness of these Mennonite churches.
